My tenure with Sinclair began in August 1998 when Sinclair acquired a station I had been working at for a number of years. After a brief stint with another company in Kansas, I was recommended to the General Manager at our Nashville station for an LSM position that would work primarily with new AE's, and rejoined Sinclair then. In April 2006, I was promoted to LSM, then in September 2010 was promoted to GSM/LSM for my current station - WLFL/WRDC in Raleigh, NC. I came back to the company in 2003 because of the wider range of opportunities Sinclair provides, and I stay because the great people with whom I've been very fortunate to work (both on the station level and higher) have been very supportive of me both personally and professionally.

I started at WSMH in Flint, MI as an entry level Account Executive right after college. I was promoted to National Sales Manager after four years and I became Local Sales Manager one year later. I was promoted to General Sales Manager three years later and just became General Manager after three years as GSM, so as you can see - SBG is a great company that promotes employee growth!

Why I stay: I stay because we have a very progressive/aggressive approach to station ownership/management, I learn new things every day and this company has been very good to me.

What I like about this company: I think Sinclair is the best broadcast company in the country because they get the best programming, deliver a great news product, run the stations the right way *and* we make money.
